Grief Recovery

Exploring concepts of Grief and Loss

Loss takes many forms—not just the death of a loved one, but also changes in health, relationships, roles, or dreams. In this gentle and grounded workshop, we explore the many ways grief shows up and how we can begin to make peace with what’s been lost.

Guided by Jo Brooks, an experienced facilitator in recovery-based healing, participants are invited to take practical, step-by-step actions that support emotional release and renewal. With compassion and care, Jo creates a safe space where grief can be met honestly—without judgment or pressure to “move on.”

As we give ourselves permission to feel and release the past, we make room for a deeper connection to life and hope for what’s ahead.

“Grief is like the ocean; it comes on waves ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim.”
